Coen Brothers Crossover to TV with New Western

A licensed psychologist based in Maryland for over 30 years, Uzi Ben-Ami, Ph.D., has maintained a private practice in Rockville. Outside of his activities working with patients, Uzi Ben-Ami, Ph.D., enjoys taking photographs, reading, listening to classical music, and watching the films of Joel and Ethan Coen.

Filmmaking brothers Joel and Ethan Coen are award-winning writers, producers, and directors who have created a number of well-known films, including Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, and No Country for Old Men. Now, the Coens are teaming up to write and direct a television series called The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

The miniseries, which represents the duo’s first steps into television, is based on an original idea and will be set in the Old West. Although details of the plot are still unknown, many news outlets have reported that the series will follow six individual storylines. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is being produced through the Coen brothers’ Mike Zoss Productions label, and Megan Ellison and Sue Naegle of Annapurna Television will serve as executive producers of the project.
